Nice review from a fellow writer

Author Karla Huebner has read my forthcoming The Dead of Winter and posted this nice review on Goodreads:

In this first-in-series mystery, police detective Lydia Barnwell is finding it hard to make her mark in her new department, when a child walking the family dog discovers a body down an icy hill. Lydia is soon deep in an increasingly puzzling case–who is this young man, why was he bound, can he really have died a natural death, and is the child’s father involved in this death? I found this to be a real page-turner with just the right number of twists and turns, and look forward to reading more from this author. Bonus: it’s set in the Pittsburgh area, and as a former Pittsburgh inhabitant, I enjoyed getting a look at more suburban/rural Allegheny County.

Thank you, Karla.
